About Us.

Thank you for visiting our website!

Since we (Nadine and Josh) met as teenagers, we’ve been on the most fantastic adventure. Starting in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, as teenagers, following God’s calling in our lives has taken us worldwide.

We married in 2009, and a few years later, we quit our jobs and took our first trip to Africa in 2012. Jump forward to June 2021, and we moved back to Edmonton, this time with two kids, Oliver and Finn, and a rottweiler named Belle! After nearly a decade of calling East Africa home, it was time for us to return to Edmonton to discover what God had in store for us next.

We have lived and worked in some of the poorest and hungriest conditions in the world. We’ve learned hard lessons about working and living across cultures and borders and had the privilege of working with grassroots nonprofits, international governments, and massive NGOs.

Life brings challenges, excitement, surprises and hardship, but we know God makes plans for our lives far beyond anything we could dream. He calls, and we’re doing our best to follow in obedience.

In 2023, we are now starting on the next journey that God has placed before us as we work to build families and restore hope for an entire generation of orphaned and vulnerable children in Eswatini, Africa.

  1. I’m so blessed to hear about your opening day at the clinic. I cried reading your update and to hear about Teddy your first patient. It brings me such joy seeing how God is using you both. Danny and I are praying for Gods vision on how we can grow Burundi Christian Ministries of Windermere, FL to help those in need. Thank you for sharing your passion and taking the time to show us the clinic this past Thursday afternoon. I know you were both so busy. We will continue to pray for you and the clinic. Your brother and sister in Christ.
